Poetry & Art of the Intelligently Erotic
Submissions: Please send 3-5 poems and/or
images to nefariousballerina@shoemusicpress.com.
Poems in the body of an email are better, but you
can also send Word attachments. You must verify
that you are at least 18 years of age when
submitting. Submit only once per reading period.
No Simultaneous Submissions. Guidelines must be
followed strictly. We’re looking for intelligence and
passion and not pornography. We care more
about what you say than how you say it; that
being said, we tend to dislike rhyming poems,
obvious metaphors and borderline greeting card
verse. On the other hand, we all but dare you to
send us something you would almost be ashamed
for someone else to see. Honesty is freeing and
very stimulating.
Current Reading period: Submissions are wide open
until September 30, 2010. We will be publishing
new work in batches, whenever that happens to
be, throughout the course of the year. Some or all
of your work may be selected for the first volume of
a special print edition tentatively due out the first of
the year 2011. For details, please click here.
Publication: Web-based magazine style. Published

award. A printed format is in the works (click here).
