Stephen Williams - Split Personality
|
You're both dying...
The one I loved and the one I love now.
Neither of you will tell me of the other.
Go home and sleep in what we could have had.
Those dreams will manifest.
You are close to death.
Oh, Shenandoah, I love your daughters...
River lifting into the sky, past the clouds,
pouring into the galaxy...
We swim together.
Resting wet on the green banks.
We hug into a love fit.
I squeeze you both,
forgiving you back
into one last whirl of decadence.
