Michele Mitchell - Switch
switch

never thought I’d be able to bend into this
position and still be able to kiss him
through open simulated scissors
precision cuts
leave hisses
on the
left side
of his neck.

switch

I’ve memorized the bite marks in his bottom lip
as skin stings with gratitude from handprints
I firmly grip his forearms
so slipping
is not
an option
neither is stopping.
